There are some things that should never be texted to a guy you like, love, want, or even KNOW…
7 types of text messages you should NEVER spend (if you value your relationship)
By the way, I’m not just talking drunk texting, or ex-texting, or even “slimy politician sending pictures of his junk” texting. You already KNOW all those text messages are relationship hand grenades with the pin pulled….
The texts I’m talking about are even worse, because otherwise smart woman (and guys, too, in some cases) send them without thinking about how devastating they can be to your relationship.
1. Over-the-top baby talk
Ack! Show some respect for yourself. A tiny amount of baby talk goes a long way. And please never use the word “muffin” unless you’re talking about food or texting about your 6-year-old niece’s kitten.
- Hey hunny wunny!
- Your cuddle muffin wuvs you.
2. Break up text messages
Anything really important deserves to be said face to face, or at least voice to voice. Don’t break up by text.
- I think we should see other people.
- I don’t think this is working. Maybe we should just be friends.
- We’re done. This is over.
One woman made herself UNDUMPABLE… Find out how she did it, using THIS!
3. Any text messages with more than HALF emoticons, abbreviated text, lols, caps, hashtags, and exclamation points
Make that more than a third. Okay, you crazy chica. Give yourself one wacky bit of text ridiculousness a week. That should be plenty. #smh
- Btw UR so gr8 \m/ 🙂 🙂 lol lol #luvU!!!
- lol IDK y i am txting you this 😉
4. Serious news
Text messages are cheap, and they fly across the ‘net by the zillion. Don’t trivialize the most important things (good or bad) in your life by texting them, rather than having the maturity to speak them face to face to the other human involved…
- Hey, I think I may be pregnant.
- Got my test results… We need to talk.
5. Utter boredom text messages
I was going to say more about this one, but I fell asleep.
- Heyyyyy.
- Sup?
- 🙂
6. Demands and ultimatums
See “Serious News,” above. If there’s something important to be said, it needs to be said in person.
- Where have you been??!
- Don’t ever speak to me again.
- Why aren’t you responding to my messages?!
7. Clingy, juvenile, girlfriend text messages
These clingy girlfriend texts include painfully long sentences, missing punctuation, and lots of lowercase “i”s.
- Omg i just think ur the sweetest ever and i fall in luv so easy i try not to but u are just so awesome and even though u just left i can’t wait to see u again and again
The BEST text messages to win him back…
There are some text messages you should never send — the kind that wreck a relationship in no time flat.
But did you know that the RIGHT kind of texts can also bring your boyfriend back and put him on his knees, begging you to be his again (and this time, for good)?
–> Get your man back with txt msgs?
This video teaches you the REAL reason you’ve failed to get your ex boyfriend to come back to you so far…
And how to use tiny little text messages to create an OBSESSION in his mind where he’ll do anything to be with you again (no matter how bad things were before.)
Time to dish, girlfriend!

Okay so I’m 12 and I accidentally said to a guy I like and a guy who likes me on txt about like govermount things and I look like a crazy person on drugs what do I do? I’ve never met him before but We know each other’s friends helppp I don’t think he likes me anymore
Hi Samara — I know just how you feel. We’ve all been there. You say something to a boy you like and you immediately regret it because it makes you feel stupid. Don’t worry, you’ll have other opportunities to have conversations with this guy on text or social media, so focus on the things you might like to say in the future and try not to worry too much about this one. {{{hugs}}} Claire
PS: Even grown women years older than you make mistakes like this. 🙂 We just have to figure it out as we go, and keep learning and growing, you know?
